We have covered please Go Home, Akutsu-san review and some necessary information.

in summary, Ooyama-kun normally doesn’t get involved with Akutsu-san, a delinquent girl in his class, but for some reason she makes his house her hang-out place! Will Ooyama do something horrible to her behind closed doors or will he chase her out? But dealing with Akutsu-san’s sexy, cute behavior in such a confined space… he’s sure to get flustered! He wants her to go home, but he doesn’t? A teasing comedy under a single roof!

This contains some spoilers, and I’m at chapter 120 as of this review.

The story is about as slow as Nisekoi’s love development, so be warned yeah. If you like rom-com mangas, then I’m sure this is for you. You’ve got this guy and a girl who are usually in the guy’s apartment room, and basically they (mostly the girl) mess with each other and don’t realize they love each other because their skulls are about as thick and hard as a rock. Eventually, they realize they love each other later in future chapters, which is a very slow development. The art and characters are subarashii but not god-tier. I enjoyed this manga a good bit, and overall, if you’re okay with slow-developing rom-coms, then this is for you. Otherwise, just skip it if you’re not into that.

Personally, I love this manga. Although the chapters are short and it feels like there’s a long wait time for new chapters, I thoroughly enjoyed this manga. It may seem like a cliche ripoff of manga like Nagataro. This manga has certain parts and charms that make it stand out in my opinion.

It starts out with the usual dense MC and a FMC that seems rough and dominating on the outside. As the story progresses, though, you see the growth that each character goes through and the interactions transform between the characters.

(slight spoilers)

The reactions from the MC in the later chapters are more reasonable, and it actually seems like he has gotten used to handling the FMC. The FMC slowly falls deeper in love, and it gets harder and harder for her to hide her true feelings.

Please Go Home, Akutsu-san

In a genre that is oversaturated with characters that have the same personality in chapter 50 as they did in chapter 1, this is a great palate cleanser, and I feel like this manga does this part well in terms of character growth. (Don’t expect insane changes, though. It’s more subtle in how the MC reacts differently.)

The art is a little on the weak side, but the character designs are good and the settings are there, but there isn’t as much of a focus.

The side characters are minimal, but when they do show up, they offer great interactions and situations for the leads.

The weakest parts of this series, however, are the chapters and the releases. It feels like the chapters are extremely short for the amount of time it takes for a new chapter to be released.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series, and I often find myself grinning every time I finish a chapter. It’s extremely wholesome and enjoyable, in my opinion, and is worth giving a chance to read.
