Greetings to all. I hope your life path is as enjoyable as Luffy’s. We’ll chat about Nico Robin, a.k.a. Robin, today. Everything about her will be included in one single article. Therefore, you have come to the proper place if you are a One-Piece fan and want to learn every single thing about Robin. Continue reading, and at the conclusion of this post, you will feel fully informed and up-to-date since we will make sure that every detail we present is thoroughly researched and factual. In what episode does
Robin join the crew?
When Luffy rescued her life during his battle with Crocodile, she became a nakama in his eyes. We all know that when Luffy takes a decision about Nakamas, he simply follows through with it. This is a flashback in Episode 130 and is not seen during the real combat. I believe that was the moment when Luffy decided to trust her as a Nakama.
In episode 130, she became a member of the Straw Hats, soon gaining everyone’s trust (save Zoro’s).
For Zoro, it is somewhat more difficult. He made it abundantly evident that he did not trust Robin and was observing her closely. I believe his reaction in episode 180 demonstrates that he indeed viewed her as a Nakama.
In episodes 227 and 228, where they risk their lives to protect Robin from Aokiji, any remaining doubts regarding their acceptance are eliminated. At that time, everyone considered Robin to be a genuine Nakama. Her responses to Skypia demonstrate that she considers herself a member of the crew and that these individuals are her friends.
Robin’s history catches up with her, and she appears to betray the team. Many would point to the episode in which she professes her will to live as the episode in which she becomes a true Nakama.
But what exactly is a true Nakama? Isn’t it someone who is willing to sacrifice his or her life to save those they love? Isn’t that what Luffy has done repeatedly by fighting against insurmountable circumstances to defend those he deems Nakama? It is as Aokiji and CP9 have stated. Before, they were never able to capture Robin because she had no one she cared about. And now… Now she had nakamas. People for whom she would give her life.
In episode 251, she became a real Nakama in my eyes (the actual occurrence is way before that in episode 230, though). This episode reveals that, for the first time in her life, she chose to choose the safety of others over her own. That is when, in my opinion, she became a true Nakama.
When Does Robin Join The Crew?
Nico Robin is a fictional character and one of the primary characters in Eiichiro Oda’s comic One Piece.
Nico Robin is the archaeologist for the Straw Hat Pirates. She is also known as the “Devil Child” and the “Light of the Revolution.” At the conclusion of the Arabasta Arc, she becomes the seventh member of the crew and the sixth to join.
