1. Turning Point

One of the most popular yaoi series of all time, Turning Point, revolves around two high school seniors: Sakuragi Takasu and Taiga Aisaka. Although Ryuji likes girls and Taiga is gay for him, both boys are unaware of each other’s feelings and continue to cross paths in their daily lives as they prepare for college entrance exams.

Sakuragi desperately wants to confess his feelings to Taiga, but fears rejection. Meanwhile, Taiga is struggling with his own confusion. He isn’t sure if he should come out and tell Ryuji that he likes him or just try to forget about it. When Sakuragi finally does muster up enough courage to confess his love, he accidentally pushes Taiga off a bridge and into a river below. Was it an accident or did Sakuragi deliberately push him?

2. La Vie en Rose

Imagine a world where all women have penises and all men have vaginas. No, it’s not some kind of nightmare—it’s La Vie en Rose, an explicit hentai manga series that portrays a fantasy where sex has no gender. This particular erotic comic was written by Watase Yuu, but it wasn’t originally meant to be something you read with your eyes; back in 1994, it was actually a visual novel made for computer systems like DOS and Windows 3.1.

3. Complex [Yaoi]

This complex of love and lust begins with two boys who are virtually complete opposites: Tatsuya Kamina, a blonde, blue-eyed delinquent student from Japan’s famed high school for troublemakers, and Junichi Sumeragi, a dark-haired honor student from an elite family in England. When Ayato meets Subaru on his first day at Gunmal High School (in episode one), he instantly falls for him despite his attempts to fight his feelings. Thus, their complex of yaoi love commences!

While Shoujo Sect is quite graphic in its depiction of sex and full of ecchi humor, Natsume Yuujinchou is a more subtle yaoi title with a deeper story line. The interaction between male characters in Natsume Yuujinchou draws on Japanese history, folklore, legends and an assortment of yokai (mysterious creatures) for inspiration. Through interactions with these yokai and other characters such as his grandmother Tachibana Reiko, his rival Yurakutei Yakushiji and even humans (who are just as curious about him), Takashi Natsume learns a great deal about himself. It’s well worth watching if you’re looking for something that’s a little less hardcore.

4. Batman & Nightwing dj

The minute I saw these two together as a couple, I knew it was perfect! Dick Grayson is without a doubt one of my favorite DC comic book characters. He’s had to prove himself time and again and at every turn, he has exceeded everyone’s expectations, sometimes even his own. But what most people don’t know about him is that his greatest love in life is Bruce Wayne… and not just because he saved Dick from an early death after being caught by Two-Face!
Dick is Bruce’s little brother in every sense of the word. And Bruce loves him with all his heart and would do anything for him. When Dick first came to live with Bruce as his legal ward, he took it in stride and acted like nothing had happened, but inside he was terrified of losing his new family – particularly when Alfred died on Wayne Manor’s grounds.

5. Aishiteru (FUJITANI Youko)

A high school teacher discovers that one of his students is writing gay hentai doujinshi, but it’s not who you might think. When Sawamura-kun confesses his love for him and asks to be tutored, we get to see a tender side of our stoic Mr. Yukimura that we never knew existed! A beautiful story about growing up, falling in love, and finding yourself. Everyone deserves a shounen-ai teacher like Mr. Junichi. [Note: In Japan, shounen-ai refers to manga and anime with male homosexual relationships.]
The story of a high school teacher and his student. Junichi is a high school teacher who fell in love with Sawamura, one of his students. We also get to see him tutoring another student, Kai. Who is also in love with him. The series includes several arcs involving other characters as well but they are tied together by characters from previous arcs and new ones that we meet along the way! As with all yaoi manga, there are tons of sex scenes!
Can’t You Love Me?: Takato likes to spend his weekends at karaoke singing pop songs until he meets a beautiful man named Kageyuki.

Other popular yaoi hentai manga series are:

Is Yaoi Manga Or Hentai

The terms yaoi and hentai are often used synonymously, but they actually refer to two very different genres. A yaoi story is (typically) centered on male-male romance. It might be explicit in nature, but it is not pornographic. On the other hand, hentai involves primarily heterosexual intercourse or sexual activity.
Because yaoi is a general term used to describe comics that feature romance between two men, it’s only accurate when referring to manga. Other terms are better suited for identifying stories with explicit content, such as shotacon (used to describe pedophilia) and shounen-ai (used to describe homosexual relationships). In Japanese, hentai actually means pervert or abnormal. But it is also used in Japan as an umbrella term for sexually explicit manga and anime—some of which do not contain male-male relationships. This has led some fans outside of Japan to use hentai to identify any erotic manga.

How To Pronounce Yaoi
