Chainsaw Man Anime Release Date! future holds for Denji

2 Mins read

Chainsaw Man Anime Release Date: Chainsaw Man is without a doubt one of the most anticipated anime releases of 2022, as the manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto presents a story unlike any other on the market. Fans were disappointed that no new trailer was shown during Studio MAPPA’s panel at this year’s Anime Expo; however, a recent leak may give fans an idea of how long they’ll have to wait for new footage prior to the fall release of the anime adaptation.

Chainsaw Man tells the story of Denji, an impoverished young man who, after making a deal with a dog-like devil named Pochita, gains the ability to transform his body into chainsaws. Denji eventually joins the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government organization dedicated to combating devils whenever they pose a global threat.

Viz Media licenses the manga in English for both print and digital release in North America, and Shueisha publishes it on the Manga Plus online platform. A MAPPA-produced anime television series adaptation is scheduled to premiere in 2022.

As of June 2022, over 13 million copies of the manga were in circulation. In 2021, it received both the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the shnen category and the Best Manga Harvey Award. The story and characters of Chainsaw Man have been praised by critics, who have also praised the film’s violent sequences within the context of the narrative.

We currently know that the Chainsaw Man anime will premiere in 2022. Since the premiere of the first trailer on June 27, 2021, we haven’t heard much about it. Since then, neither MAPPA nor Crunchyroll, the international licensor, have made any announcements. Already halfway through 2022, fans are becoming impatient due to the anime’s delay.

Chainsaw Man Anime Release Date?

The anime is expected to released on 10 August 2022.

Many fans and anime experts predicted that Chainsaw Man would be released in the Fall of 2022, with October 2022 being the most likely release month. This was not the case, with many attributing the delay to the COVID-19 pandemic. A new teaser, released in December 2021, stated that Chainsaw Man would debut in 2022, but did not specify a date.

Chainsaw Man Anime Release Date! future holds for Denji

Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will distribute Chainsaw Man in the United States when it airs “this year.” Chainsaw Man will be subtitled and dubbed, with the subtitled release being simultaneously broadcast.

This has prompted fans to speculate once more, with some speculating that Chainsaw Man will arrive in the fall, though this is not confirmed at this time. Fans of Chainsaw Man will have to wait a bit longer before they can clear their schedules.

According to reports, MAPPA will cover the entirety of Part 1 in the first season of Chainsaw Man, which will consist of approximately 24 episodes. However, Season 1 will not be the end of Denji’s journey, as Part 2 of the Chainsaw Man manga series will be released on July 13, 2022. It is therefore reasonable to assume that MAPPA will return with a new season as soon as they have sufficient source material.

Following the conclusion of the first volume of Chainsaw Man’s manga, readers have been eager to find out what the future holds for Denji and the other characters who survived the traumatic events of the final chapters. Without a doubt, we anticipate the return of the series to be filled with plenty of blood and guts.
